Create & Develop Soundtracks: The Spooky Playlist
"Darkness falls across the land The midnight hour is close at hand Creatures crawl in search of blood To terrorize y'alls neighborhood"
Image & Lyrics: Michael Jackson, Thriller
October wouldn't be October without a Halloween playlist!
The origins of Halloween dates as far back to ancient Celtic times and the festival of Samhain. The Celts (who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France), celebrated their New Year on the first of November. They believed that Samhain was the time when ghosts and ghouls came out to haunt, so the Celts would calm the spirits by giving them treats.
Nowadays the legend and tradition lives on in the form of trick or treating, pumpkin carving, dressing up and spooky fun!
By way of celebration, we've collated our favourite fright night sounds especially for you to enjoy in time for the weekend.
