Join the team of this specialist in Sportswear and Lifestyle apparel - we're working on their behalf to recruit a Product Developer to focus on their special brand projects from design concept to final sign off, working with innovation to continually improve and enhance product.

Your New Role...

​

As a PD within this co, you will work closely with design and other areas of the business to deliver good high quality product from order through to shipment. The business is fast moving, so you'll need to be motivated, capable of working on your own initiative and have good attention to detail, as well as being an effective communicator. 

​​

Your Responsibilities...

​

• Once the range has been finalised and an order placed, you'll start development in line with the critical path, working closely with factories. 

• You'll create accurate size charts for each product, following relevant trends in fit, ensuring any legal requirements are met.

• Tracking samples for fit, photography and sign off, you'll also order any components required.

• Check and approve lab dips from suppliers and manage relevant testing on fabrics, trims and made up garments. You'll also check logo strike offs for prints and embroideries.

• Factory sample approvals with detailed comments including amendments.

• Ensuring internal and external stakeholders are kept up to date with the process throughout. 

About You...

​

• You'll have mid level experience gained within either a PD or Garment Tech role, and have knowledge of jerseywear.

• You'll be ideally educated to degree level in a fashion related subject.

• A passion for sportswear would be highly advantageous!

• You'll have advanced IT literacy - MS packages including Excel + Adobe CC.

• You'll enjoy collaborating and working as part of a friendly, knowledgeable, supportive team culture.

Your New Role...

You will be a crucial part of their supply chain management, ensuring the seamless importation of goods. You will work closely with offshore suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to manage the import process, ensuring timely delivery.

Your Responsibilities...

• Order Management - Coordinate and manage the importation of goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Logistics Coordination - Work closely with logistics providers to ensure efficient transportation and delivery of goods.

• Documentation and Compliance - Ensure all import documentation is accurate and compliant with international trade regulations.

• Cost Management - Monitor and manage import costs, seeking opportunities to optimize expenses and improve efficiency.

About You...

• You will have proven experience in logistics, supply chain and shipping , ideally gained within the fashion industry.

• Understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage volume orders, multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

As Junior PD within this co, you will work closely with your Senior Developer,  Design and co departments, as well as suppliers to develop and deliver product from concept through to shipment. You'll thrive on working at pace - no two days are ever the same!

Your Responsibilities...

• Working with your Senior Developer, you'll work on prototype development, in line with the critical path.

• You'll create accurate tech packs and size charts and be involved in the sealing process and fit sessions. 

• Coordinate fabric and trims testing (fit for purpose, durability, colour fastness etc) and approve lab dips as well as logo strike offs for prints and embroideries.

• Approve samples and produce fit comments, keeping stakeholders updated throughout. 

About You...

• A recent fashion graduate with exceptional garment construction knowledge and ability and a relevent placement of three months or more. 

• A passion for sportswear would be highly advantageous!

• You'll have advanced IT literacy - MS packages including Excel + Adobe CC.

• Naturally curious, with a keen eye for detail, you'll enjoy working towards continuous improvement.

Forward thinking and highly professional we're looking to recruit Garment Technologist / QA on their behalf.

​

Working on a mix of contract and brand ranges, in this role your duties will include;-

​

• Taking samples through the sealing process, providing technical knowledge around production techniques, quality and fit during the development process

• Attending fit sessions, to explain fit issues and ensure all customer requirements are actioned.

• Creating size charts, you'll understand grading rules, garment detail and proportions.

• Providing solutions & knowledge to improve overall garment make up

• Continuous improvement of standards & procedures

• Daily liaison with colleagues offshore & the UK

• Building strong trusting relationships with colleagues, factories & customers

• You'll have solid working knowledge of the fit process
