About You...

Educated to degree level (Fashion Design), you'll have proven experience in Menswear design (ideally casualwear), with a minimum of two years in a standalone design role.

You'll be a proficient user of Adobe CC, with advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop.

With a strong sense of style, colour and trend awareness, you'll naturally translate this into best selling product.

Join the team of this specialist in Sportswear and Lifestyle apparel - we're working on their behalf to recruit a Product Developer to focus on their special brand projects from design concept to final sign off, working with innovation to continually improve and enhance product.

Your New Role...
​
As a PD within this co, you will work closely with design and other areas of the business to deliver good high quality product from order through to shipment. The business is fast moving, so you'll need to be motivated, capable of working on your own initiative and have good attention to detail, as well as being an effective communicator.
​​
Your Responsibilities...
​

Once the range has been finalised and an order placed, you'll start development in line with the critical path, working closely with factories.
-
You'll create accurate size charts for each product, following relevant trends in fit, ensuring any legal requirements are met.
-
Tracking samples for fit, photography and sign off, you'll also order any components required.
-
Check and approve lab dips from suppliers and manage relevant testing on fabrics, trims and made up garments. You'll also check logo strike offs for prints and embroideries.

Factory sample approvals with detailed comments including amendments.

Ensuring internal and external stakeholders are kept up to date with the process throughout.
About You...
​

You'll have mid level experience gained within either a PD or Garment Tech role, and have knowledge of jerseywear.

You'll be ideally educated to degree level in a fashion related subject.

A passion for sportswear would be highly advantageous!

You'll have advanced IT literacy - MS packages including Excel + Adobe CC.
